Many of the athletes who compete in the Firestarter Tournament are selected and committed to university or college teams in Canada and the United States. Our teams are a representation of the highest level of amateur female hockey in Western Canada. Our U18 AAA Firestarter weekend is attended by scouts from:
U SPORTS – Canadian University League
NCAA Division 1 – National Collegiate Athletic Association
NCAA Division 3 – National Collegiate Athletic Association
ACHA – American Collegiate Hockey Association
ACAC – Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference

Post-secondary team representatives who register in advance to attend the Calgary Firestarter AAA Tournament weekend will receive pre-tournament online access to rosters/player details for all 16 attending teams.
