The GHC Calgary Fire AAA/AA Female Program and its volunteer members created the Calgary Firestarter Tournament in 2016. A tournament of this size raises the profile of AAA/AA female hockey in Western Canada, and provides an opportunity for our athletes to diversify their competition pool.
Many of the athletes who compete in the Firestarter have committed to university or college teams in Canada and the United States. Our teams are a representation of the highest level of amateur female hockey in Western Canada.
50/50 Draw Winners
In the event of any discrepancy between the above winning ticket numbers and the official draw winning ticket numbers, the latter shall prevail.
Rules

- Players must physically be in the province of Alberta at the time of purchase, be 18 years of age or older, and use a major Credit Card, Visa Debit, or Mastercard Debit.
- Tickets will be available for purchase online and sold at the rate of:
- 1 for $5
- 3 for $10
- 10 for $20
- 30 for $50
- 100 for $100
- The winner will receive 50% of the ticket sales (to a maximum of $7,875.00).
- All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) – Rafflebox. A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.
- The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing an Alberta Gaming Liquor Commission (AGLC) registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).
- The winner will be contacted by phone and email. The winner has 90 days to claim their prize. If the prize is not claimed within the 90 day claim period, a second draw from the same numbers will occur.
- Draw results will appear under the “Winners” tab found on the main raffle page (in Rafflebox and on the Firestarter’s 50/50 Draw web page).
- By playing, you consent to have your name and winning numbers published.
How to Claim
- Winning ticket numbers will posted next to the Welcome Table during the tournament.
- During the tournament, notify the Welcome Table that you are the holder of the winning ticket to claim the prize amount.
- Post tournament, email: FireStarter@girlshockeycalgary.com that you are the holder of the winning ticket, and arrangements will be made to provide the prize amount.
- Prizes can only be paid on presentation of the original winning ticket.
- Winning 50/50 Ticket(s) must be claimed within 90 days of the Draw Date.
